Unique partners with Raceway for Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400
Unique Pretzel Bakery has recently made some winning moves to introduce their delicious snacks to new fans. The Reading, Pennsylvania bakery was named Snack Producer of the Year for 2016 and they’ve rolled out new products that consumers are excited about and Unique continues to support partnerships that Pennsylvanians are wild about.
Last year, Unique Pretzels and Pocono Raceway announced a multi-year partnership that named Unique the Official Pretzel of Pocono Raceway and, in 2016, race fans can expect to see (and taste) more Unique Pretzels at every race.
This Sunday, June 5, Pocono Raceway becomes home to as many as 100,000 race fans for the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race is one of three major motorsport events that Unique has partnered with at Pocono Raceway.
“We’re all fans of racing,” says Justin Spannuth, sixth generation pretzel baker and COO of Unique Pretzel Bakery. “The partnership allows us to share our products with a lot of like-minded people–people who live and shop in our market–all at once.”
Unique’s presence as a sponsor will be everywhere from the welcoming gift baskets presented to drivers and crews, to branded signage over the scoring tower. Unique’s products are also available at multiple concession stands and in the suites.

Known as The Tricky Triangle, Pocono Raceway is a family-owned, Pennsylvania-based company, just like Unique Pretzel Bakery.
“Supporting a multi-generational organization that puts out an excellent product comes very naturally to Unique,” continues Spannuth whose family first started baking pretzels in Reading, PA in the late 1800s.
Unique Pretzels has been promoting the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 on their social channels and is giving away four sets of four tickets during the week leading up to the race for fans who share the message.
“We are excited to extend our official partnership with this sixth-generation, Pennsylvania family-owned business and to give fans the opportunity to purchase their delicious products at the Raceway for years to come,” offers Pocono Raceway President and CEO, Brandon Igdalsky.
